These terms apply to purchases made through jbopals.com.au. By placing an order you agree to them.

Each opal is unique

Every piece we sell is a single, one-of-a-kind item. Adding a piece to your cart does not reserve it — the first customer to complete checkout secures it. If a piece is sold before you finish checking out, you won't be charged.

Photos & descriptions

We photograph and describe every opal as accurately as we can. Opal colour shifts with light and viewing angle, and screens display colour differently, so the stone may look slightly different in person. Our 14-day inspection period exists for exactly this reason.

Pricing & payment

Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment providers. We reserve the right to cancel and fully refund an order if a piece has been listed at an obviously incorrect price.

Caring for your opal

Opals are softer than many gemstones and can be damaged by hard knocks, harsh chemicals, or sudden temperature changes. We are not responsible for damage caused by wear, accident, or improper care after delivery.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
